Four people, including a Baltimore County police officer, were taken to an area hospital Saturday due to an early-morning crash.

Police said the crash happened just before 2 a.m. 15700 block of Hanover Pike in Upperco. They said the officer was responding to a fight call with lights and siren activated when another vehicle made a U-turn and collided with the police vehicle.

Authorities said the police vehicle flipped over.

The officer and three people involved in the crash were taken to shock trauma for treatment of a wrist injury and is expected to be released. One person was not hospitalized. The injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

Police have not said if charges will be filed.
