Police Officer Involved in Pennsylvania Crash

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving a police officer early Tuesday in Upper St. Clair.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, Pa. --

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving a police officer early Tuesday.

Authorities said a St. Clair police officer was behind the wheel of a police SUV when it crashed on Bower Hill Road in Upper St. Clair shortly after 12:30 a.m.

All damage appeared to be in the front passenger side of the vehicle.

There is no word on what caused the crash.

Police did not indicate that anyone was seriously hurt in the crash.
