FRASER, Mich. --

A Fraser man is facing charges after police said he led them on a chase and then said he was going kill to officers with an AK-47.

Kristian Prenaj is charged with fleeing police and resisting and assaulting police.

Police said the 25-year-old was arrested Saturday evening in his own neighborhood near 14 Mile and Garfield roads after fleeing a traffic stop earlier on 14 Mile Road.

Police said they were attempting to stop Prenaj for an outstanding warrant and for driving on a suspended license. They said he pulled into his own driveway before trying to back out and get away from officers.

While he was being handcuffed, police said Prenaj told officers he was going to kill all of them with an AK-47.

His bond has been set at $20,000 or 10 percent.
