PHOENIX --

Phoenix police say two of their officers were injured in an overnight traffic wreck that rolled the SUV they were driving.

Phoenix fire Capt.Scott Walker said they were called to a two-vehicle wreck along 51st Avenue north of Baseline Road at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

Walker said paramedics found a Phoenix police vehicle had rolled over after being involved in a crash with another vehicle.

The two Phoenix police officers in the SUV were taken to St.Joseph's Hospital with immediate, but non-life-threatening, said Walker. A 36-year-old woman from the second vehicle was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.

Phoenix police investigators closed 51st Avenue at Baseline Road while the wreck was cleared.
