HONOLULU --
Police arrested a Waialua man for punching a police officer in the face in Kaneohe Monday.
Authorities were responding to a report of a verbal argument at an apartment on William Henry Road.
Police said when they told the man to leave, he assaulted one of the officers. The officer was treated at the scene.
The man was taken to Castle Medical Center for minor injuries and then arrested. He was later released pending further investigation.
