An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer was killed after his cruiser was struck by a tractor-trailer Monday. Officer Tim Huffman was writing a report in his cruiser in the shoulder of Interstate 8 near Yuma around 5 p.m. when the rig failed to yield and slammed into the back of his vehicle, according to The Republic .
