A Texarkana police officer died on Saturday as a result of injuries he suffered in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning. Officer William Jason Sprague was struck by a vehicle around 12:30 a.m. while en route to a call at Grady T. Wallace Park, according The Texarkana Gazette .
