Tattoo removal must take place prior to testing
Members and Employees are prohibited from displaying visible tattoos, scarifications or brands that are visible below the elbow. Members and Employees are prohibited from displaying visible tattoos, scarifications or brands that are excessive. Excessive is defined as any tattoos, scarifications or brands that exceed 25% of any visible body part. Tattoos, scarifications and brands are considered visible if they can be seen while the member/employee is wearing a short sleeve shirt. Members and Employees are prohibitied from displaying any tattoos, scarifications or brand above the collar line.
Members and Employees are prohibited from displaying any tattoos, scarification or brand that can be considered offensive, inappropriate, or detracts from the professional appearance of the Nashua Police Department.

Probationary Period: 1 Year
