TAMPA -- Tampa police released new video of a person of interest in the Seminole Heights murder investigations Thursday afternoon.

Interim Police Chief Brian Dugan shared new video of a person in a hooded sweatshirt walking down a street near where the first victim, Benjamin Mitchell, was shot on Oct. 9.

The new video is a compilation of several camera angles put together, including some in color.

The person appears to pull a phone out of their pocket and look at it while walking and continues to look at it during another portion of the video.

A person police believe is the same one seen in earlier portions of the video is later seen running down the street, away from the shooting.

Police are not calling the person in the videos a suspect, rather they believe it’s someone who saw or heard something and could provide valuable information.

Police believe the person in the video has ties to the community. Dugan said it should be clear to people who know them who the person of interest is after watching the video, according to Bay News 9.

Investigators continue to search for answers in the deaths of Anthony Naiboa, Monica Hoffa and Mitchell, who have all been shot and killed within a mile of each other in Seminole Heights this month.

Officials have previously released video of a person in a hooded sweatshirt walking near the scene of one of the murders.

Wednesday, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Dugan spoke with officers during their evening roll call, Spectrum Bay News 9 reported.

“You guys go hunt him down and bring his head to me,” Buckhorn told the patrol officers.

The reward offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case has increased to $35,000.
