Local and state law enforcement officials and transportation leaders met at the west steps of the California Capitol to discuss the dangers of impaired driving. The "DUI Doesn't Just Mean Booze" campaign is part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness that impaired driving can also mean illegal drugs, prescription medication and marijuana. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there's been an increase in the number of drivers in deadly crashes who have tested positive for something other than alcohol in their system.
