It was announced in yesterday’s news that the Senate had approved an $838 Billion stimulus package. This got me wondering and I had to share. I have NOT delved deeply into the package to see how many (if any) of these dollars are slotted for law enforcement grants, training, equipment, etc. Allegedly there is a small portion.
838 BILLION (838,000,000,000) seconds is 13,966,666,666.7 minutes
838 BILLION seconds is 232,777,777.8 hours
838 BILLION seconds is 9,699,074.07 Days
838 BILLION seconds is 26,572.81 years
SO, if our government can offset this artificially created deficit by one dollar per second,
We’ll pay it off by the year 28,581.
That’s approximately 1,329 generations from now.
I’d like to “hear” your thoughts about it? Is it necessary? Do you think it will help? What do you think will happen if the government doesn’t put more money into the economy?
And finally, if there are dollars in their for the law enforcement community, where do you think we need them most?
How can we spend ourselves out of a problem when there is no money in the first place, I could see a huge bill if there was a huge amount in the general fund to spend, but there isn’t and spending Air, or just making money will weaken ourself in the worlds Economy!!
Didn’t America fight a cold war for like 45 years against just this kind of crap? Oh, that’s right. Colleges, and increasingly, high schools and down are just Indocrinate U. Keep on forgetting where we came from and let’s all wonder how we got where we are.
It would appear the current bunch in DC have one primary objective, that being the tried and failed policies of the Obama administration will only cause the general populace to become even more dependent on the federal government. Not having a degree in economics it didn’t take very much thought on my part to come to the logical conclusion that you don’t stimulate the economy by just printing more worthless paper, called money. It is like the saying “if something sounds too good to be true-it probably is” referring to the outrageous amount of inflation this administration has and continues to cause the taxpayers of this country.
The tried and true policies of Corporate America and the Republican Party made a mess of this country. Furthermore, Corporate America is also too dependent on the federal government when it comes to tax breaks, subsidies, etc and they have been doing it for the last 30 years.
