Nightforce has incorporated Hi-Speed adjustments into their line of NXS riflescopes, effectively doubling the elevation and windage range per rotation. This means twice the adjustment speed and simplified field reference, leading to faster target acquisition. For example, .250 MOA (1/4 MOA) adjustments now provide 20 MOA of adjustment per rotation, compared to the previous 10 MOA. Adjustments calibrated in .1 Mil-Radian (1/10 Mil) values now provide 10 Mil-Radians per rotation, versus the previous five.
In response to demand for additional designs of their Velocity series reticles, these Nightforce reticles are engineered for precision shooting to 1,000 yards. This will expand theVelocity series to the company’s higher magnification riflescopes as well as provide solutions for the fastest magnums and other flat-shooting cartridges.
The NXS 3.5-15x50 F1 was created by Nightforce Optics Inc. at the request of U.S. military and other professional sharpshooters for a scope that is fast, applicable to a wide range of targets at various distances, and offering a choice of elevation/windage click values, reticles and ballistic turrets with Nightforce ZeroStop technology. The Nightforce F1 is offered with a choice of three different windage/elevation adjustments: .250 MOA, .1 Mil Radian, or 1.0 MOA elevation/.5 MOA windage. There are two optional engraved ballistic turret caps offered (available separately); one for the 1.0/.5 MOA version specifically marked for the A-191 (.300 Win. Mag./190 gr. Sierra Match King), or for the M118LR (.308/175 gr. Sierra Match King), marked in meters. The standard cap comes with an MOA scale, which the user can have custom engraved to match virtually any caliber once that caliber’s ballistics are established.
Nightforce Optics Inc. introduced its Top of Ring Bubble Level, which replaces the top half of Nightforce Unimount, Direct Mount, and Nightforce Mil-Spec rings. The bubble level is low profile and built directly into the top half of the ring, allowing the shooter to maintain level rifle alignment—critical at long ranges, when even a slight cant of the firearm can dramatically affect point of impact. It also aids in precise scope mounting, providing an easy method of making certain the reticle is level. The Top of Ring Bubble Level is available by itself, with an integrally machined mount for the Nightforce ADI (Angle Degree Indicator), or as a complete system incorporating the ADI. The ADI takes the guesswork out of uphill and downhill shots. Calibrated in degrees, the ADI gives an instant readout which can be entered directly into Nightforce ballistic software or referenced to a pre-printed angle drop chart. The ADI is simple and requires no batteries.
The Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32 Compact, made in the USA, offers low-light capability in a compact, lightweight, streamlined instrument that will not overwhelm rifles. The 32mm objective gives users more versatility with minimal additional size and weight. The NXS 2.5-10x32 has a larger exit pupil, aiding in faster target acquisition and improved light transmission. At 12 inches and 19 ounces, it represents the optimum ratio of size-to-weight performance. It is available with fully enclosed turrets in .250 MOA, or exposed target-style turrets with .250 MOA, .1Mil-Rad, or 1.0 MOA elevation/.5 MOA windage adjustments. Turrets include Nightforce ZeroStop technology with windage limiter, allowing a quick return to absolute zero, regardless of previous elevation adjustments.
Improper cleaning of high-quality optics can cause permanent damage. That's why Nightforce has created its own cleaning kit, designed for use on riflescopes and other fine optics. The kit includes an Ultra Brush, for scratch-free removal of dust and dirt; a split microfiber cloth designed for cleaning lenses; and a bottle of Nightforce solution that cleans lenses and also helps prevent fogging during sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Unlike some other anti-fogging solutions, it will not build up or degrade image quality in any way. The kit is packaged in a convenient, rugged, pocket-sized plastic case. Full instructions are included.
The Nightforce Ballistic Program includes tools that allow firearms users to maximize long-range rifle accuracy while minimizing time and money spent at the range. Precise bullet drop, lead and windage corrections, even at ranges to 2,000 yards, that otherwise would require many hours and hundreds of shots are quickly and easily calculated. Two versions are offered; one for a Pocket PC and on for Windows. Both versions work in tandem, and can be purchased individually or as a bundle. The program's capabilities include recording and recalling of sight-in data for location and conditions, profiles of rifle/ammunition/atmospheric condition scenarios, all necessary calculations for ranging reticles and much more.
Nightforce Ultralite scope rings are offered in various heigts, from .885, 1.00, 1.125, 1.265 to 1.375 inches. The 1.1265 inch filles a gap in mounting options. All Nightforce rings are designed for 30mm riflescope tubes, and are regarded as some of the strongest, most rugged and precise mounting systems on the market. Nightforce Ultralite rings weigh 1/3 as much as steel rings, but the combination of 7075-T6 hard anodized aluminum with titanium crossbolts and jaws has proven, under rigorous testing, to be stronger than steel. Each is precision machined to match receiver contour, assuring straight and true alignment. This also reduces the amount of internal reticle adjustment when zeroing a rifle. One-piece and two-piece steel bases, plus Picatinny base blanks in steel or aluminum alloy are also offered.
The popular Nightforce 1-4x24 and 2.5-10x24 compact NXS riflescopes are now offered with Nightforce's ZeroStop technology and windage limiter. Both models incorporate exposed turrets for rapid access and quick adjustments. The scopes are streamlined and low in profile, allowing easy mounting on virtually any rifle. It is as quick as open sights and more precise. It is also extremely popular with tactical and law enforcement professionals seeking a light, compact scope for CQB operations. The 2.5-10x24 is an ideal all-around scope, its 24mm objective lens outperforming many bulky, awkward scopes with much larger objectives. Users will enjoy a lighter scope offering a wide range of mounting options and suitable for all but the most extreme distances. Its versatility has also resulted in wide acceptance among military and law enforcement sharpshooters.
The new Nightforce Angle Degree Indicator (ADIMT) takes the guesswork out of uphill or downhill shots, especially at longer ranges. It provides an instant visual reading of the slope angle in degrees, which can be then be used with a pre-printed angle drop chart or entered directly into the Nightforce ballistic software program on a pocket PC or Windows computer. The Angle Degree Indicator's two-piece low-profile Picatinny mount design allows easy installation without removing the scope. It is small, simple and unobtrusive, and requires no batteries. It is offered in both left- and right-hand versions for use with one-piece bases. While designed to complement Nightforce riflescopes, it can also be used with many other scope brands.
