Karbon MPID

Product From KARBON ARMS INC.

The Karbon MPID's (multi-purpose immobilization device) projectile and contact firing mode stun/immobilization device utilizes an innovative framework design that allows the gun to be manufactured with uni-body construction. Unlike traditional stun gun fabrication methods, uni-body construction eliminates the need for a two halves to be glued together which results in significant strength improvements of the unit. Other features include simple to use cartridge eject arms for quick cartridge ejection, use of cost efficient off-the-shelf-batteries, and a recessed cartridge to prevent accidental dislodgement.

TruVu

Product From KARBON ARMS INC.

Stinger Systems Inc. offers the TruVu gun camera as an attachment for the Company's flagship projectile stun weapon, the Stinger. The TruVu system will be offered as an add-on to the Stinger and will ship with the weapon in early first quarter of 2005. The TruVu is a natural technological extension of the widely accepted use of video recording equipment in patrol cars taking video capture from the patrol car, to the incident and crime scene. Law enforcement professionals and administrators will now be able to view incidents and officer responses from their Windows PC's and use the captured video as both a training tool, and a check on proper use of force procedures.

Band-It Electronic Restraint

Product From KARBON ARMS INC.

The Band-It prevents prisoners from grabbing any sort of weapon from law enforcement personnel. The device consists of an electronic cuff that is placed on the subject, and delivers an immobilizing shock if the subject attempts to attack anyone. The shock can be delivered by an operator up to 150 feet away through a wireless remote. The Band-It from Stinger Systems emits 45,000 to 50,000 volts at 4 to 6 milliamps output, which is enough power to temporarily immobilize a prisoner. The Band-It has been approved for use by the U.S. Department of Justice and adopted by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and many state and county agencies to prevent violence during the transportation and court appearances of potentially dangerous inmates or defendants.
