The NIVISYS UTAM-32 Thermal Acquisition Monocular has been under development for 9-months. It is a very powerful ultra-compact hand-held observation and target acquisition device that may also be used as a stand alone observation device or a clip-on weapon sight. Thermal (infrared) sights provide the capability to observe suspects of interest through smoke, fog, bushes and other objects that otherwise may hide them from all other types of visual devices including Generation I, II, and III night vision devices. The UTAM-32 also has an easy to function operator push button manipulated menu driven electronic system giving the operator a choice of five sight reticles with 1/4M.O.A. elevation and windage adjustments. This feature makes possible precision short- and mid-range shots from any firearm. It may be mounted on a variety of units including a Picatinny rail. Coupling the UTAM-32 with the NIVISYS TLAM clip on visible and near IR laser unit results in an incredibly effective low-light/night fighting system.
NIVISYS' TQP (Tactical Quick Peek) tri-fold periscope is a hand-held unit that solves some real tactical problems for military and law enforcement. The NIVISYS TQP can be deployed in 15-seconds from its compact carry take-down configuration. Simply unfold the hinged one piece unit (no separate pieces to assemble), hand-tighten the connectors and the TQP is ready to use to safely peer down hallways, up, over and around obstacles and yet keep the operator safely behind protective cover. The TQP can be combined with NIVISYS' MUM-14 ultra-compact night-vision monocular (with built-in IR light source) for night- or low-light operations.
Known by model number, the NIVISYS Industries NSV-80 simply, quickly and accurately clips onto the 1913 Picatinny rail in front of a telescopic sight to turn a daylight system into a night fighting system. The NSV-80 (night vision sight) does not require operators to have error prone separate night and day zeros on their telescopic sights. The NSV-80 simply mounts in front of most telescopic sights via a quick-detach Picatinny compatible clip on mount. While not always required, the NSV-80 also features a rear rubber seal (Litegard) that fits between the scope's objective lens (or sunshade) and the NSV-80 to eliminate or limit peripheral light. The NSV-80 internal optics makes an accurate full-field view possible even if it is NOT in alignment with the telescopic sight's objective lens. In other words, if the reticle is in view, the NSV-80 reticle is still on target without further adjustment. No need for potential zeroing errors when converting from day to night operations. NIVISYS' NSV-80 provides a clear and precise parallax-proof conversion from day optics to dark time without any scope adjustments.
Nivisys Industries LLC announced has received the first FAA TSO-C164 approval for their NVAG-6 Night Vision Aviator Goggle. This FAA Technical Standard Order (C164) authorizes the recipient to produce and deliver Night Vision Goggles for use in the civil aviation community. Nivisys efforts will provide the civil aviation community, including Law Enforcement, Medical Responders (EMS), and Search and Rescue Units with qualified and certified NVG's under the eyes of the FAA.
The TAM-14 lightweight thermal imaging system is sensitive enough to detect and recognize a human at over 400 meters and able to see less than 1 degree in temperature difference. Simple to operate, Nivisys' TAM-14 can be switched from white hot to black hot; adjustible eight-position contrast setting and a 2X digital zoom are incorporated into the unit. Used as a hands-free monocular or in optional headmount/helmet mount configurations, the TAM-14 also has a video output mode to allow the system to be used as a thermal camera. With the optional ELCAN weapon mount and the built-in reticle the TAM-14 becomes one of the smallest thermal weapon sights on the market. The TAM-14 will function for more 4 hours on two CR123 batteries.
The TLAM Tactical Laser Aiming Module System is another first from Nivisys Industries, bringing you a Dual Beam laser in a small and lightweight package. The unit easily clamps onto the TAM-14 Thermal Monocular, MUM-14 Night Vision Monocular and even the NVBS-15 Night Vision Binocular. Adding the TLAM to any of these systems immediately gives the operator the ability to mark or hand-off targets efficiently and effectively. The system uses a 5mw 635nm class IIIa visible aiming laser for daytime operations giving the user 30-50 meters of range and up to 450 meters in low light conditions. In night operations the system uses a 835nm .6mw class IIIb Infrared aiming laser that will give the user 800-1000 meters range when viewed through a night vision device. A single 3 volt Lithium 123A type battery is used to provide a minimum of 24 continuous hours of use.
The Tag-7 Thermal Acquisiton Goggle systems are complete, self-contained thermal units that only require 2 AA batteries to function and. The goggle uses the same headmounts/helmet mounts and other accessories as a standard PVS-7 goggle. The thermal goggle provides a bright clear picture of the suroundings unaffected by lights or shadows that will render image intensified night vision useless. Camoflage will not be an asset against the sensitivty and deteciton capability of these units. Made using the latest in DSP technology and lightweight materials, the NIVISYS goggles are small and comfortable.
