Logicube Inc. added to its line of premier forensic data capture solutions: The CellXtract data extraction solution for mobile devices.
CellXtract provides fast and thorough forensic data extraction from mobile devices, including Apple iPhone, Android and GPS devices and PDAs. With no external computer required, the CellXtract is a self-contained solution that allows users to view and triage data extraction in real-time on scene. A ruggedized chassis, which meets IP54 and a subset of Mil Std 810F standards, has been specifically designed for the harshest field environments, including military operations. Battery-operated and field rechargeable CellXtract is available anytime, anywhere. The CellXtract provides extraction reports in xml or .csv formats to easily import into data mining applications. The comprehensive search feature allows officers to pre-load a list of keywords to quickly highlight relevant suspect data in the report.
Logicube Inc. added to its line of premier forensic data capture solutions: The Talon Enhanced forensic data capture solution.
The Talon Enhanced provides fast data capture at over 7GB/min, and features a ruggedized and scratch-resistant exterior and impact resistant display to meet harsh field environments. A small footprint and light-weight (at less than 2 pounds) makes the Talon Enhanced extremely portable and easy to transport in the field. The Talon Enhanced allows user to capture to dd image or to E01 file format (featuring hardware-based compression to maintain line-speed performance) and uses both MD5 and SHA-256 authentication concurrently in real time at full capturing speed. The Talon Enhanced provides 100 percent write-protected source ports to provide a forensically secure preview of a suspect drive without additional write-block hardware required.
Logicube Inc. adds to its line of eForensics data capture products the Forensic Dossier, a high-speed, hand-held solution that allows forensic investigators to easily capture data from SATA/IDE hard drives and a variety of different flash media. The Dossier can capture data from one or two source drives to either one or two destination drives simultaneously and provides built-in support for capture from a RAID drive pair. All varieties of smart media, including compact flash, memory sticks, SD and multimedia cards are supported. Built-in connectivity allows users to forensically capture data from devices. Firewire and USB connections provide write-protected preview of source drives/media prior to capture. Destination drives fit securely inside the Dossier and data captured is authenticated using SHA-256 and MD5 concurrently.
The CellDEK TEK from Logicube provides an easy-to-use data extraction solution that delivers the advanced features that forensic investigators require. CellDEK TEK captures standard data from cell phones and PDAs (including Blackberry devices) in less than 5 minutes. This compact and lightweight solution features intuitive, self-selecting device adapters that quickly light up to match the selected phone or PDA -- no need to manually sort through adapters or reference guides to find the correct cable. Investigators can use their own laptop or desktop PC to capture such data as dialed and received calls, missed calls, text messages, video and audio files, and more. The CellDEK TEK is compatible with more than 950 handsets (with all optional adapters and connectivity modules).
Logicube's Forensic Dock is a complete computer forensic solution combining the speed of Logicube hardware with powerful analysis software. With the Forensic Dock permanently attached to the analysis PC, examiners have immediate access to the suspect drive (in the MD5 or from the external drive bay) for imaging and acquisition, and/or for analyzing already acquired image files. By speeding up capturing as well as analysis, the Forensic Dock cuts examination time up to 75 percent.
The Portable Forensic Lab is a complete, compact, portable computer forensic field lab housed in a special, ruggedized carrying case. This powerful, incident response tool gives the investigator a head start, often cutting the time to acquire evidence in half. No other tool on the market captures, analyzes and documents evidence faster, right there in the field. The Portable Forensic Lab (PFL) includes all a computer forensic examiner needs to capture evidence at high speed from multiple sources of digital media, capture evidence from multiple media sources, browse data from multiple types of digital media and analyze the captured data using forensic analysis software such as UTK (the Ultimate Tool Kit) from AccessData
Logicube Inc. introduces the CellDEK cellphone and PDA data extraction kit. The CellDEK accesses data from more than 90 percent of all North American cellphones and PDAs, at the scene of the crime. CellDEK provides immediate intelligence, potentially leading to faster interdiction and enhanced evidence. The CellDEK software automatically extracts, without alteration, the following data: handset time and date, serial numbers (IMEI, IMSI), dialed calls, received calls, phonebook (both handset and SIM), SMS (both handset and SIM), deleted SMS from SIM, calendar, memos and to -do lists.
The handheld Logicube forensic Talon is specifically designed for the requirements of law enforcement, military, MIS/IT, corporate security, investigators and auditors. At speeds of up to 4 GB per minute, the Talon simultaneously captures and verifies data on IDE/UDMA/SCSI/SATA, 1.8 inch, 2 1/2 inch and compact flash drives. With "DD" imaging and SHA-256 authentication, the Talon is a powerful and versatile data capturing system. Users may also select varying DD file sizes, such as 650 MB, 2 GB, and 4 GB. These segments of captured data may be placed on other media such as CD or DVD's for further analysis, or they may be analyzed on the drive by segments.
