The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with the Make-A-Wish foundation to grant a little boy’s wish to be a deputy for a day. Omar, 4, has been battling a rare blood disease since he was six months old. Omar partnered with Chris Guerra for his day as a deputy. Guerra battled a life-threatening illness when he was younger, undergoing a heart transplant. Before becoming a deputy, Guerra has his wish granted by the foundation.
