The Sacramento’s police review commission unanimously voted to recommend that the mayor and city council members support AB 392.
The Sacramento’s police review commission unanimously voted to recommend that the mayor and city council members support AB 392. The proposed bill redefines when officers can use deadly force from “reasonable” to “necessary.” The commission recommends that the city adopt the higher standard now instead of waiting for state lawmakers making it legal.
