Authorities Beef Up Security Around Windsor Castle Ahead of Royal Wedding

May 15, 2018
Heavily armed police are combing every inch of the town of Windsor with bomb-sniffing dogs.
Windsor Castle is being turned into a fortress for Saturday’s royal wedding. Heavily armed police are combing every inch of the town of Windsor with bomb-sniffing dogs. Every manhole cover is being inspected and sealed. The attack in Paris Saturday, in which a man stabbed five people before being shot dead by police, has heightened tension. Garbage cans have also been replaced by clear plastic bags so police can immediately see if there are any bombs inside.
