The Dirty Little Secret

The constant refrain that I hear is that the poor, hard-working illegals are doing the jobs that Americans refuse to do. First of all, that lie was disabused when scores of illegal immigrants (1,262 to be exact) were arrested in December 2006 at the Swift & Company meat plants across six states. Immediately following their removal by federal agents, job applicants (American citizens) were lined up around the block applying for positions to replace the politically correct (PC) monikered "undocumented workers." Why? Because contrary to public opinion, the illegals were working well-paying jobs that Americans are willing to work! Swift pays the illegals more than minimum wage, but does not offer them any benefits. In this way costs are kept at a minimum, and the employees know not to make any waves or display any sign of displeasure, or they will be out of a job. This begs the question: why were none of the Swift management execs arrested for allowing these folks to work? Why is there no consequence when the company doing the hiring blatantly breaks the law? The easy answer is that the arrest of any company executive would not fit the PC template. To add insult to injury, forged documents and identity theft were commonplace amidst the hiring practices.

ID theft and forgery are bad enough, but now here is the "dirty little secret" that no one will tell you about--our beloved illegals, the folks that our legislators refer to as good, family-oriented people and the backbone of America, are sex fiends! There are approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the U.S. This according to Andy Selepak, in an article written for The Family Security Foundation, Inc., on January 10, 2007. These predators have victimized nearly one million of us, perpetrating crimes including rape, child molestation, sexual homicides, and rape and molestation of handicapped children. Why is it that we never hear about U.S. citizens being victimized by illegals? Once again, the simple answer is that it simply does not fit the PC template. An unbelievable 93 sex offenders illegally cross the border each day. Are our legislators concerned? Don't make me laugh. The new Congress is now re-evaluating the very need for a border fence. This after the voters demanded a fence be built--so much for your vote meaning anything to a politician.

In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which totaled 1,200 to 1,500) in the first half of 2004, targeted illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) were for illegal aliens. This information was gleaned from testimony on April 13, 2005, given by Heather MacDonald, a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Claims. Ms. MacDonald spoke about "sanctuary laws," which basically prevent law enforcement officers from inquiring about the citizenship of an individual and reporting it to federal authorities. You guys and gals on the street know exactly what I am talking about. Heaven forbid the local news media gets their hands on a story about you making a field stop and determining that your subject is in the country illegally. MacDonald emphasizes that these sanctuary laws "place a higher priority on protecting illegal aliens from deportation than on protecting legal immigrants and citizens from assault, rape, arson, and other crimes."

MacDonald's testimony further illustrated how these outlaw illegals survive, especially in California. Most of the gangs consist of illegal immigrants that thrive on violence, drug-dealing, and intimidation. The notorious Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang is said to be overwhelmingly illegal. Our police departments and federal agencies know this to be true, yet our Congress continues to take the position that these are hard-working people that are only trying to feed their families.
