Louisiana Officer Adopts Abandoned Kitten

Sept. 4, 2015
Officer Hodges of the Duson Police Department found the abandoned kitten while he was investigating a crime.

A Louisiana police officer made himself a new friend this week while out on patrol.

Officer Hodges of the Duson Police Department found an abandoned kitten while he was investigating a crime.

The kitten was hungry and in need of health care. The officer decided to not only take the kitten to the veterinarian, but adopted him as his own.

"The kitten is out of jail, AKA the veterinarian clinic," Hodges shared with the department on its Facebook page. "Nice and healthy. They said he was so hunry & ate so much he was food drunk thereafter."
