Coming soon, this new docking station will be compatible with Getac’s 11.6” V110 Convertible Notebook, in both laptop and tablet orientation.
Since every inch of in-vehicle workspace matters, the Docking Station for the Getac V110 will feature a thin profile and small footprint. The docking station’s port replication features best-in-class circuitry to improve mobile workforce productivity by allowing users to charge their laptop and connect to essential peripherals like printers and barcode scanners. This rear-facing port replication protects cable connections, while the dock’s integrated strain relief prevents accidental disconnects.
The docking station also utilizes Havis’ rugged locking system and front hooks, which provide theft deterrence and work together to keep the Getac V110 Notebook securely mounted through rugged driving conditions. A guided, floating docking connector maintains constant connectivity and helps protect against damage.
To ensure additional laptop security and functionality in the field, the Docking Station for the Getac V110 is currently undergoing extensive safety and quality evaluations. Havis’ rigorous testing includes 30-mph crash simulations, military-grade vibration testing, extensive cycle testing, hot/cold operation and storage testing, and compliance with RoHS (Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances) regulations.
The Docking Station Series for the Getac V110 is the latest addition to Havis’ growing number of docking solutions for Getac computers. Havis currently offers docking stations for the F110 Rugged Tablet and V100 and V200 Convertible Notebooks. Additionally, a docking solution for the Getac T800 Tablet is in development.
