Tactical Medical Kits - Individual First Aid (TMK-IFAK)

Chinook Medical Gear unveiled the TMK-IFAK, a new Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) for use in any tactical situation. Chinook’s TMK-IFAK offers a unique design comprised of a Pouch and Insert which can be used separately or combined into one complete system for quick and easy access to TCCC/TECC recommended supplies. Designed to standard double magazine pouch size specifications, this kit features rapid one-handed deployment and a tether system so that life-saving supplies are always within reach. The unique design eliminates digging for or dumping contents by allowing for individual deployment of supplies without dislodging other supplies.

TMK-IFAK Pouch & Insert 
By combining the TMK-IFAK Pouch and Insert, the operator has an individual first aid kit that is highly organized, customizable and designed with ease of use in mind. The Pouch and Insert are tethered together with a leash so that essential medical gear is never out of reach.  “Our customers asked for a medical kit that allows for single handed deployment in a standard size pouch,” comments Jessica Denison, COO of Chinook Medical Gear. “We’ve accomplished that with the new TMK-IFAK and hope this new kit will help save more lives.”

TMK-IFAK Insert 
Providing exceptional organization in a streamlined design, the TMK-IFAK Insert fits into most AR/M4 double magazine pouches, or within the specifically designed Chinook TMK-IFAK Pouch. The Insert opens revealing numerous elastic retainer bands allowing for the removal of individual supplies without dislodging others. The easily identifiable red handle at the top of the Insert makes it easy to grasp and deploy the kit single-handedly.

TMK-IFAK Pouch 
Chinook’s TMK-IFAK Pouch features two MOLLE straps and four rows of PALS webbing on the back and sides of the pouch for multiple mounting options and tourniquet attachment points. On the bottom of the IFAK Pouch there is a 3” retainer band for another tourniquet placement option. Internally the TMK-IFAK Pouch utilizes a unique elevator strap that, when pulled, lifts loose supplies eliminating having to dig or dump supplies.
